Checking the PSR8000 software version

If you encounter problems while working with the PSR-8000, it might be useful to know your software version. Fortunately , this can be easily checked without the need of opening the keyboard:

With the PSR-8000 switched OFF, hold down the keys C2#, F2 and G2# and switch on the PSR-8000. The software version should become visible in the display now. Press the rhythm start/stop to walk through the several test screens.
